Participants: profile, number
This short training course aims to reach youth workers (professional and volunteer), youth leaders and decision makers in the field of youth, with a solid intention of using (amongst others) Erasmus+: Youth in Action as a tool within a long term strategy to promote empowerment possibilities on individual, organisational and community level.
(It is possible for two people from the same organisation with different status to apply (e.g. youth worker and decision maker / board member) in order to enhance and support the implementation of the strategy back home. But applicants have to justify this in their application)

Flow of the training process
1/ Identified needs:
Projects under Erasmus+: Youth in Action are not always derive from real needs of the local community.
Needs assessment is often made by the person in charge of the project, without involving target groups, peers, board members or other stakeholders of the local community.

The impact of the Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects are often limited and not monitored in a long-term perspective.
Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects are often additional/extra work and is not directly connected with educational aim and objectives of the beneficiaries.

2/ Expected impacts:
Participants will use Erasmus+: Youth in Action as a toolbox that contributes to the educational objectives of their organisation and their daily work. Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects are not the final product, but is/can be part of a local kick off of changes and new projects.
Participants will design projects coming from identified needs in their local community, and focus on long term impact (individual/organisational/community level)
