This seminar brings together project leaders who have recently carried out at least one Erasmus+: Youth in Action project and gives them a chance to reflect on their experience, learn from each other and improve the quality of future projects.
Have you recently finished your project in the frames of Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme? Do you wonder what have you gained from this experience and what should be the next steps and challenges for you? If yes, then this reflection and evaluation meeting for beneficiaries of Erasmus+ programme is something you need. Attend the seminar in Tallinn from 4.-8.05.2016 and meet up with other project leaders from across Europe in order to discover more about yourself, your project and the programme.

Target group:

The seminar brings together project leaders (youth workers and youth leaders) who have carried out at least one Erasmus+: Youth in Action project since January 2015 regardless of the key action and gives them a chance to reflect on their experience and improve the quality of future projects.

In addition, all the participants should be
• willing to share their experience with Erasmus+ programme,
• able to speak and work freely in English,
• at least 18 years old.

Aims and agenda:

The aim of the meeting is to reflect on three main components of the project: the process (how the project was planned and implemented), learning (from the perspective of the persons and organisations involved) and impact (on different levels). We seek to challenge the participants’ perception of the quality of the project and provoke them to think on further improvements of their activities.

In addition, the programme includes the sharing of best practices. Participants have carried out very different projects (from Youth Exchanges to Structured Dialogue projects), so it’s a perfect opportunity to learn from each other and compare the different types of activities in Erasmus+ programme. As a result, the same topics could be covered by completely new types of projects in the future.

While looking back to our experiences, we also focus on the future: what would be the next steps to take and how to ensure the quality of future projects. The key aspects will be active participation, facilitation of learning and increased impact of the project. By learning from the past experiences we are better equipped to move forward.

The seminar will focus around the reflection on

1. one’s own learning experience,
2. the ups and downs of the project (with a view on the future),
3. the wider impact of the project,
4. the inclusion and active participation during the project,
5. the facilitation of learning in the project.

NB! There will be no official programme on the 4th of May, but the seminar starts in the morning of the 5th of May. Therefore, please reserve the 4th of May for travelling to Tallinn. The accommodation will be provided for you. The closing of the event will be on Sunday afternoon on the 8th of May 2016.
